Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for an Export Logistics Supervisor. The role involves overseeing daily export logistics activities, ensuring the smooth coordination of shipments, and managing inventory levels to meet global client demands. Additional responsibilities include supervising logistics teams, maintaining compliance with international trade and shipping regulations, and collaborating with customers to ensure high levels of service. The successful candidate will also identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and resolve any logistics-related issues effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills and the ability to lead and motivate the logistics team
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to foster client relationships
  • Experience in Operations Management, including streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency
  • Proficiency in Inventory Management to oversee stock levels and ensure timely deliveries
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and shipping processes
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems; fluency in English required, additional languages are a plus
  • Experience in the agro-food industry or export logistics industry is an advantage
