Job Vacancy: Accountant – at MO Basket

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to work for one of the companies managed through our accounting office.

MO Basket is a company specialized in exporting high-quality Egyptian fruits and vegetables to international markets. The company focuses on efficient export operations, meeting global standards and specific market requirements.

They are currently looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record all financial transactions (daily journal entries) accurately in the General Ledger.
  • Perform periodic bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
  • Monitor purchasing, sales, and inventory movement.
  • Manage cash movement (safe/treasury), including cash receipts and disbursements.
  • Review expenses and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with documentation and internal policies.
  • Prepare financial and management reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 5–10 years of experience in general ledger and treasury accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of cash flow management and treasury operations.
