Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food Safety Specialist, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Food Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes, and monitoring food handling practices. Key daily tasks include conducting inspections, evaluating food quality standards, identifying potential safety risks, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance food safety procedures. The specialist will also provide training and guidance to staff on best practices in food safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Food Science and Food Safety principles
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Food Quality control processes
  • Knowledge of Food Service operations and industry standards
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance related to food safety
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
  • Experience with HACCP implementation or similar food safety systems is a plus
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
