Job Description
Job Summary
The Traffic Coordinator for Fleet Management is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of company vehicles to ensure efficient utilization and timely service delivery. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, coordinates maintenance schedules, and supports operational efficiency across the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch vehicles for daily operations, ensuring optimal route planning.
  • Monitor fleet activity and track vehicle locations using GPS or fleet management systems.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and driver assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Communicate with drivers and operations teams to resolve delays or issues promptly.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on fleet performance, utilization, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in fleet coordination or transportation management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
