About The Role:

As a DevOps Manager at Dsquares, you will be responsible for leading and managing the DevOps team and overseeing the infrastructure and processes required to support and deliver our software solutions. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems. You will implement and improve deployment processes, monitor and scale the infrastructure, and identify areas for improvement. In addition to technical leadership, you will also be responsible for managing the team's performance, mentoring and coaching team members, and collaborating with other teams to define and implement best practices and standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the DevOps team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and team performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee the implementation and improvement of CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and release processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices and standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies.

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.
• Prior experience managing a team of DevOps professionals.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer) would be a plus.
