**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Build strong and sustainable customer relationships
- Driving customer thought leadership agenda for top key accounts
- Negotiate effectively with your customer, e.g. to agree trade terms, trade funding, and counterparts according to the UL strategy on his/her categories
- Manage the relationship aspects of key customer ‘events', e.g. launching of new products, cost price changes, breaches of trade terms
- Develop and deliver the customer strategic business plan for relevant categories, and the joint customer business plan, working closely with Customer marketing
- Ensure effective in-store activation of key events (e.g. promotions, range reviews), providing clear briefings to the national key account team
- Manage the customer P&L for relevant categories and the overall level of customer investment
- Manage in-month performance vs forecast, working closely with Sales operations
- Manage accruals and pricing accurately and efficiently
- Ensure customer is compliant with agreed trade terms; where these are breached seek a resolution and monitor implementation
- P&L Management
- S&OP Forecasting
- Business Planning, sales updates, in store tracking etc
- Direct line management of national account team.
**REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES**:
- Strong awareness, understanding and knowledge of shopper behaviour and insights
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization as well as with all divisions/groups within the organization
- Effective interpersonal and active listening skills
- Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines.
- Must have strong planning/organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
- Encourages teamwork, Ability to motivate others to deliver winning results
Advanced level of English
- 10-12 years of Sales Experience in FMCG is highly preferred
- Multi-function and multi-tasking abilities
- Clear understanding of the different RTM principles/strategies for channels
- Team building skills
- Self-starter, acting with integrity
