Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior BIM Specialist to join our team in Cairo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed building information models using the latest BIM software.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in BIM modeling, preferably in the construction industry, and experience with ELV engineering and systems is highly preferred. You will collaborate with project team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM models, conduct clash detection and resolve any issues to ensure coordination between different disciplines, and create and maintain accurate and up-to-date BIM libraries for use in future projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed building information models using BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM models.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve any issues to ensure coordination between different disciplines.
  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date BIM libraries for use in future projects.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and protocols.
  • Review and analyze design drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts and recommend solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and trends to continuously improve processes and workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Experience with ELV engineering and systems is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Experience with clash detection and coordination is a plus.
