Job Description

**Web Developer (PHP/WordPress) Position**

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with expertise in PHP, CSS3/HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL to join our team at SamTech Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, administration, and website content management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-performance, 24x7 available corporate websites using PHP, CSS3/HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Design and implement new features and functionalities for day-to-day business needs.
  • Ensure seamless integrations with 3rd party systems, such as Zoho Books, Microsoft SSO, and other external systems.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) to support business requirements.
  • Integrate payment gateways like Stripe and manage hosting servers (Apache), cPanel, and other administration activities.
  • Utilize debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug to troubleshoot issues.
  • Communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders and present clear ideas for proposed solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in web development, preferably with a Bachelor's degree in a related Information Technology field.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, CSS3/HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Experience with WordPress development, administration, and website content management.
  • Ability to work with debugging tools and communicate technical solutions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related Information Technology field.
  • Experience working with payment gateways, 3rd party integrations, and RESTful APIs.
