As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for developing strategic purchasing relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and negotiating prices to achieve cost savings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a multinational environment. Additionally, proficiency in English and knowledge of procurement software, such as MAXIMO, are essential requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Negotiate prices and terms to achieve cost savings and comply with company policies and regulations.
- Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Manage the purchasing process from receipt of foreign purchase requests to delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with customs for clearance of materials and delivery to plant.
- Assist in developing, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers and vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Foreign Contract Buyer or in a procurement role (3-4 years junior, 6-7 years senior).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Salary Range: EGP 120,000 - EGP 180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
