**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Execute assigned tasks and activities with high efficiency and quality following the company rules, regulations, policies and/or instructions
- Provide guidance in accordance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Collaborate with the business units and functional groups on a broad spectrum providing technical accounting guidance and oversight for significant and complex accounting and reporting topics
- Communicate changes related to the reporting and accounting guidelines and help align key accounting processes with the changes
- Ensure accuracy of books and record by analyzing and reviewing financial statements as well as drive balance sheet review process and provide remediation and solution
- Coordinate on accounting and reporting issues with Zone/Hub
- Ensure that general accounting processes and function is in adherence to Siemens policies and IFRS
- Review and approve complex journal entries and account reconciliations; ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with IFRS and adequate internal controls are in place and in line with Siemens International Chart of Accounts
- Responsible for resolving reporting and closing queries and develop controls to avoid repeated issues
- Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor
- Responsible for the preparation of local statutory financial statements as per the requirements of IFRS
- Collaborate with the Tax team on various Tax matters; monitor taxes reporting reconciliation and follow up and clears taxes payments
- Ensure month end closing process is executed smoothly
- Coach, Supervise and Develop team members and elevate their skillset in order to address future Accounting and Finance challenges

Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from reputable institution
- Proven track record of relevant experience in public and non-public (Big 4 and industry Fortune 500)
- Strong Healthcare Sector knowledge in Egypt or wider region.
- Excellent communication / influencing skills
- Expertise in ERM and internal controls
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and impeccable attention to details
- Strong problem-solving skills and the proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Previous experience and responsibility in areas such as supervising, training, and retaining competent accounting staff
