For August 2024, New Cairo British International School (NCBIS) is looking to recruit an outstanding full-time Head of Secondary.

Summary of Role:
The core purpose of this role is to provide professional, highly effective leadership and management that will achieve outstanding student academic progress (value added) and excellence in all other aspects of Secondary School life. The Head of Secondary promotes the NCBIS vision and gives clear direction that is shared by all members of the Secondary School and the Leadership Team.

NCBIS is the leading British international, not-for-profit school in Egypt and is an authorized A level and IB World School with more than 60 nationalities represented among 740 students aged 3-18. The student population is made up of around 60% expatriate and 40% Egyptians who must have dual nationality. NCBIS is renowned for the excellence of its educational programmes, which includes a strong extracurricular and CAS elements across the school, and a welcoming learning environment.

The Secondary School students follow the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and then take the Edexcel International GCSE examinations in Year 11, followed by either GCE A levels or the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13. The school is fully accredited by CIS and we are members of COBIS and BSME.
