Engages and effectively represent Plan International in strategic partnerships with relevant NGOs (local and international), National and district local government entities /stakeholders as appropriate, to maximize use of our resources and program impact and ensure alignment and strong partnerships so that targets are met;
Effectively networks with the donor, and NGO’s involved in project implementation; Develops appropriate internal and external Working Relationships (and partnerships) to support quality project delivery and compliance. 3-Advocacy, Influencing, and Visibility Represent Plan International Egypt at the governorate and national level to implement the advocacy activities as stated in the project. Support with technical documentation of evidence from the project and write stories of change when required. Ensure close technical and operational collaboration and coordination with Government Networks Ensure that the project is fully aligned with the Advocacy Strategy and the SDG influencing plan. 4- Staff Management/Partner Leadership Manage project staff and/or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the organization. Ensure roles, responsibilities and expectations are clearly communicated and understood by the full project team. Team members are mentored and coached to achieve their full potential and results of the project. Staff performance reviews are conducted in line with Plan International Egypt’s Performance Management System. finance management. 5-Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures. Ensures that all staff in the unit/function/department are properly inducted on and understands their role in upholding Plan International’s safeguarding and GEI policies; Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work. Ensures that Plan Egypt contributes to Plan International’s global efforts to ensure safeguarding and GEI, including making sure that relevant reporting and data are submitted.
