Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Be the SME in all systems under his/her responsibility such that water system, HVAC compressed air, boilers generators, in addition to non GMP utilities)
- Lead or participate in capital projects for all the systems under his/her responsibility.
- Monitor utility systems and maintain KPI’s to assure that they are operating properly, in compliance with requirements.
- Provide written instructions for the proper way to operate and maintain the utilities and process to assure that the system operates within the controlled parameters.
- Implement efficient and effective maintenance and reliability techniques.
- Provide technical assistance as necessary to utilities technicians.
- Support internal audits and external audits.
- work in a safe manner and in compliance with all Viatris EHS policies, standards and procedures.
- Ensure the utilities comply with all quality policies and procedures.
- Identify risks and escalate situation with a sense of urgency.
- Support the tracking and (KPIs) for Cairo site against global sustainability plan of 2030.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

- 3-5 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry in utilities or maintenance role
- A degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical and Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of cGMP
