Level 3: The post holder will have contact with children and/or young people _either _frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting the country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

**Projects Scope**:
FORSA project is a BPRM-funded project that is directly implemented by Partner Non-Governmental Organizations (PNGOs). The project aims to provide Refugee, migrant and host community children and their families with quality services in child protection, education, and MHPSS towards durable solutions, provided by strong and sustainable civil society organizations.

**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The Education Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Education Senior Officer to support Partner NGOs to provide quality educational services to refugee and Egyptian children in safe educational environments. He/she will be supporting the capacity-building activities with PNGOs, following up the implementation of the educational activities with PNGOs. This educational activity will aim to promote and facilitate access to quality and safe educational opportunities inside the supported Community Learning Centres (CLCs) and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), improve children’s reading, writing and mathematics skills, support teachers’ professional development and provide awareness sessions for parents for educational, environmental and protection topics.

The education coordinator will conduct regular observation and monitoring visits to the mentioned activities in the field and provide the technical needed support when appropriate. In addition, he/ she will be responsible for carrying out logístical, and operational work, related to the directly implemented activities such as the capacity
- building events in accordance with SCI policies.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
**Project Implementation**
- Support the implementation of the project’s direct activities i.e. capacity building activities, and coordination with NGOs, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Refugees Led Organizations (RLOs) and other relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for carrying out logístical, and operational work related to the direct implemented
- Support PNGOs in planning, reporting, and documenting the project’s
- Support the implementation of capacity building of PNGOs to deliver the planned educational activities

i.e. Catch-up Classes, Safe School, Teacher Professional Development and Parents Awareness Sessions.
- Conduct regular observation and monitoring field visits to the educational activities using relevant tools and under supervision from Education Senior Officer.
- Assist in providing coaching and on-the-job training to PNGOs staff to deliver planned educational activities with the needed quality.
- Maintain the education component’s comprehensive database of the related educational
- Ensure education activities are implemented with a high level of participation from the targeted
- Ensure that the project’s activities are implemented in line with SCI’s policies and procedures and adhere to donor requirements and guidelines.

- Regularly update the project senior officer with progress, challenges, and areas of
