Key responsibilities:

- Oversees all activities related to procurement of a commodity, from intent to purchase through delivery of commodity.
- Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier.
- Manage delivery timelines internally and with the sub-contractor/vendor.
- Monitor supplier cost/quality and delivery performance and drive actions for improvement where necessary
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology etc.
- Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security
- Allocating and managing office space and ensure that basic facilities are well-maintained
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
- Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Overseeing building projects, renovations, or refurbishments.
- Helping businesses to relocate to new offices and to make decisions about leasing
- Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and team
- Fostering a professional working environment

Desired qualifications:

- 5-7 years of experience in Facilities & Procurement in Egypt in SMEs.
- Proven experience as facilities & Procurement manager or relevant position
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Bachelor's Degree in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM, CPP, CIPS) will be an advantage
- Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
- Internal and External Stakeholder management experience
- Relevant procurement experience in SME companies where processes need to be defined, implemented and/or improved.
