**Job Title**: Senior Cost Manager, PDS

**Job Summary**:
As a Senior Cost Manager for PDS, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals in delivering high-quality cost estimation and management services. Your role will involve overseeing the preparation of cost estimates, evaluation reports, bills of quantities, and contract documents. You will also be responsible for managing change control processes, reviewing costing in conjunction with budgets, and participating in cost reporting. Additionally, you will represent the company in a professional and diligent manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Demonstrate excellent take-off skills in terms of accuracy and speed.
Prepare budget and pre-contract cost estimates, as well as cost plans for different project stages.
Develop tender evaluation reports and bills of quantities.
Create pre-tender cost estimates and review and negotiate contractor prices.
Prepare contract documents and review monthly payment valuations.
Manage change control processes for all additional works.
Price and review additional works through post-contract cost estimates and validate their quantification process.
Review costing in conjunction with budgets.
Prepare final accounts and participate in the cost reporting process.
Attend site and design team meetings.
Demonstrate strong team player qualities while taking a leadership role in personal development planning.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
Experience in managing cost management responsibilities through a team of seniors and juniors to align business processes with targets.
Hardworking and proactive individual with a strong desire to learn and progress, with an eye for detail and a passion for high standards.
Demonstrated experience in the Real Estate sector.
Excellent pre and post-contract technical cost and commercial management skills.
Articulate in written and oral communication.
Excellent prioritization and self-management skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

**Key Competencies**:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
Familiarity with cost estimation and quantity surveying software such as CostX, Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or Candy is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Associate or member of RICS (or in process) is advantageous.
Experience in the Construction, Fit-out, and/or Renovation projects is preferred.
Experience in the Middle East is desirable, but not essential.
