**Mission**:
The Resource Efficiency and Management Unit of RINA is seeking a highly motivated person to support the team in technical and commercial tasks related mainly to the field power, but possibly also in industrial energy efficiency, resident in RINA Cairo office.

**Key Accountabilities**:
The hired consultant will devote the majority of his time to an ongoing project (5 years duration) related to the EBRD financing of NEXUS (Energy Part) programme as well as to support the business unit initiative in the country.

In particular, he/she will assist in the following areas:

- Follow the projects constantly in day-to-day work
- Prepare periodical reports on the projects progress status
- Meet and be proactive during meetings with Consultants, Clients, Stakeholders and Ministers
- Writing technical notes during meetings.
- Analyse the typical project documents (e.g. drawings, specifications, MRQ, RFI, TOR, TDS, etc.) to take into consideration all the project details ranging from pre-feasibility studies to FEED
- On site activities (e.g. project construction monitoring)
- Communicate with concerned departments to prepare and execute the general project plan
- Support the business development activities in the Country as well as help during the offer’s preparation

In addition, the hired consultant will help developing RINA business in Egypt in the fields of power but also industrial energy efficiency.

**Experience and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experienced in Power Field with focus in Energy Efficiency, Renewable and Electricity Sector
- Background: Consultancy
- Knowledge of: Egypt Electricity Grid, Owner's/Lender's Engineering Services, Heat&Material Balances, PFDs, P&IDs, TDS, LCCA, Microsoft Office Suite
- Other: excellent communication skills, ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
- Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills, knowledge of the Italian language will be considered an added value
- About 10 years of experience are preferable.
