**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Manages and supervises a team of sales leaders and their corresponding subordinates on a nation-wide level to drive the products’ selling process.
- Closely monitor and integrate with his direct subordinates and discover their areas of strengths/challenges and plans for continuous development and improvement.
- Assure the implementation of the sales strategy and tactics in field.
- Monitor the performance of the sales team by maintaining a system of reports and timely communications involving sales activities, sales meetings, market feedback, inventory management, etc.
- Holds regular meetings with his direct subordinates to discuss the progress in sales achievement, acknowledge the top performers and take action to correct deviated outcomes.
- Build and maintain a long-term professional partnership with customers, Key Opinion Leaders and decision-makers in the therapy area(s).
- Follow a consistent plan to accompany the sales team in field visit to coach, provide support, guide performance, and take corrective action when needed.
- Cooperate with marketing department to generate an agreed marketing plan for the products portfolio.
- Follow up with his team for proper and efficient implementation of the marketing plan.
- Provide ambitious thus realistic sales forecasts and develop specific plans and tactics, resources needed to ensure the accomplishment of such forecasts.
- Investigate, analyze, and evaluate market feedback regarding competitors’ activities and market’s dynamics and proactively work to adopt it in the favor of the business.
- Builds and maintain a work culture that encourages healthy competition among team members and values recognition for top performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant pharmaceutical/medical studies.
- Post graduate studies in management are preferred.
- +12 years of overall experience in Pharma sector in Egypt.
- +2 years of experience as second line sales manager in multinational or reputable pharmaceutical company.
- Previous experience in handling national-wide managerial responsibility is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of Egyptian pharmaceutical market.
- Proven track of success in handling previous responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills and teamwork skills and ability to align different parties.
- Dynamic, ambitious, result oriented and a team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including fluency in English.
