Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Content to join Informa Markets in Egypt, driving live content offerings for our Egypt shows. With 4 annual exhibitions taking place in Egypt and 1 new exhibition in West Africa.

In-person events are back in force, and the role of content in providing opportunities to learn, connect and share best practices has never been more important. You will have excellent influencing skills, be enthusiastic and open to new ideas, and possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with our Marketing, Brand, Logistics and Sales teams.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the content direction of our exhibitions and contribute to the overall success of our events by delivering exceptional experiences to our customers and stakeholders. The Content Manager will be a key driver in ensuring that our exhibitions remain engaging, relevant, and revenue-generating.

The Content Manager for Exhibition will report directly to the Group Director, providing regular updates on the progress, performance, and strategic direction of content-related activities within the exhibitions.. This position will require a dynamic and creative individual who can contribute to the success of conferences, seminars, awards ceremonies, and start-up pitches across various industries. The Content Manager will collaborate closely with the Group Director to implement strategies and initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the exhibitions and the organization.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Event Content Strategy**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies for all aspects of the exhibition, including conferences, workshops, industry competitions, awards ceremonies, and other innovative side activities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience through creative content features and new ideas.
- Lead speaker selection and management to ensure the quality and relevance of presenters.

**Market Research**:

- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences.
- Utilize market insights to tailor content strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align content strategies with their objectives and maximize mutual benefits.

**Research & Analysis**:

- Continuously analyze and assess the effectiveness of content initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor industry developments to identify emerging topics and themes for inclusion in the exhibition's content.

**Copywriting**:

- Create compelling and engaging written content for promotional materials, event agendas, and marketing collateral.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with the overall exhibition messaging.

**Collaboration with Team**:

- Work closely with the Event Manager to integrate content strategies seamlessly into the exhibition's logístical planning.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure promotional efforts align with content themes.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager to guarantee smooth on-site content delivery.

**On-site Delivery**:

- Oversee the execution of content-related activities during the exhibition, ensuring they run smoothly and meet customer expectations.
- Handle any unforeseen challenges or issues related to content delivery.

**Speaker Acquisition**:

- Source and secure high-level industry speakers for various events and programs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with influential speakers in the industry.

**Content Collateral Development**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and publish industry-relevant content like reports, videos, interviews, and webinars.

**Leadership**:

- Lead a team of content professionals, providing guidance, direction, and mentorship as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the content team.

**Budgeting**:

- Manage the budget for content-related activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
