**What you will do**

As a Senior Accounts Payable you will verify and process system invoices as well as requests for payment. You will also maintain payment files and executes check generation jobs through completion

**_ Responsibilities_**
- Follow company processes, controls and policies
- Create and take action on month-end accounts payable reports
- Receive invoices, perform necessary validations and execute transactions with timeliness
- Resolve issues, serve as a resource in troubleshooting complex matters and insure that problems are responded to in a timely manner
- Demonstrate leadership skills and develop new employees
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities and colleagues
- Ensure company policies, processes, and procedures are clearly defined, updated and documented
- Preparation, review and posting of monthly journal entries to the general ledger
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage procurement operations for finance organization
- Invoice review, payments, vendor management, and assistance with prepaid and accrued expenses
- Assist with monthly close process including financial analysis and financial reporting
- Support annual audits and tax return working in concert with external auditors
- Other duties as required.

**About you**

**_Requirements_**
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- Good understanding of accounting/book-keeping and expense recognition principles
- You will have 3-5 years minimum Accounts Payable experience in a fast paced, deadline driven, high volume accounting environment
- Sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- You will have intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience using an ERP system (Oracle will be value added).
- Good skills in reconciliation
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
