**Overview**
As a Sr Associate in Human Resources at Amgen, you'll manage HR-related queries, assist in formulating HR policies, and ensure company-wide adherence. Working closely with HR managers, you'll coordinate a variety of HR activities, including recruitment, learning and development, and performance evaluations. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial in promoting healthy employee relations and managing administrative tasks effectively.
**Accountabilities**
- Operationally supports HR strategies
- Delivers effective HR service which is customer service-focused and business-related
- Implements HR policies and practices so that present and future requirements are met effectively
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the talent acquisition process and the attraction and retention of key talents
- Support in the design and delivery of development initiatives
- Support MEA HR with execution of core HR processes including talent acquisition and development, preparation for talent management review and compensation processes
- Supports the review of Human Resources policies and procedures
- Back-up support for regional team payroll process
- Lead and assist with the planning of MEA hub employee engagement events (ex. Townhalls)
- Support in the design and delivery of development initiatives
- Conducts HR programs such as orientation, recruiting events, employee relations meetings
- Creates training plan in order to develop employees’ skills
- Ensures HR programs are communicated and understood by employees
- Facilitates communication between individuals and departments/business units
- Ensures compliance with local labor laws through review of work contracts and status changes
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
- University Degree: HR, Business or similar fields
- 3 to 5 years of HR experience, pharma industry would be a plus
- Knowledge of recruitment, communication, training process
- Fluency in English, both in verbal and written communication
- Computer skills
