**Job Purpose**:
We are looking for someone to join our brilliant North Africa and Egypt team to take on the role of Procurement Manager for North Africa and Egypt. In the team, we are the ‘face’ of procurement to the Haleon North Africa and Egypt business.

This role represents a great opportunity for you to build strong relationships with a variety of diverse stakeholders across the North Africa and Egypt business, including senior stakeholder management with the Haleon Leadership team. You will then use these relationships to understand everyone’s objectives, priorities, business strategy and then advise how procurement can help achieve these goals. This will include contributing through cost savings, driving value including top line growth and managing risk and/or ensuring that the right suppliers are being chosen. All supporting the overall Haleon business strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Business partnering & stakeholder management in HALEON**
- Build strategic relationships with BU stakeholders, to understand business requirements, identify opportunities to create value and to position procurement’s value proposition. Align sourcing strategies accordingly
- Influence key stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development, endorse recommended strategies, support execution, and agree how benefit delivery will be budgeted
- Communicate & Collaborate with the BU regularly and with consistency - Using fact-based data, experience and Internal/external insights
- Focus and prioritise P&L impacting saves whilst providing strategic direction for the BU’s

**Strategy execution**
- Align with Global category teams and work in collaboration with these teams to provide NA and Egypt Haleon business requirements
- Execute global sourcing strategies for multiple spend categories in scope of responsibility, operating with a truly global mindset and ensuring all applicable NA and Egypt Haleon business needs are accommodated.
- Have a clear understanding of how global strategies affect North Africa and Egypt business and build an education & communication process for your stakeholders
- Be the local expert in the spend categories within scope of responsibility
- Partner with, and lead the GDC where required to contribute to value delivery through project execution

**Benefit delivery**
- Ensure financial benefits are managed in accordance with the Savings methodology approach, ensuring business unit and Finance agreement to financial value delivered and transparency on treatment of benefits in the budgeting process
- Create and deliver effective budgets (plans of purchase) agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Savings methodology

**External supplier relationships**
- Execute and manage effective contracts with suppliers that will allow North Africa and Egypt to maximize opportunity globally. Ensure global views on supplier negotiations are taken
- Manage the supply base for the categories within scope through a robust performance management process. Ensure supplier performance is understood and measured.
- Ensure suitable processes and communication links exist between above country supplier organization structures and local & regional networks to ensure effective process and communication cascade through supplier and HALEON network and geographies

**Supply chain & risk management**
- Optimise the supply chain to release value and make HALEON business more responsive to business and customer needs - for example in cost control, complexity reduction, simplification, best practice procurement and use of KPIs
