**Description**:
**Responsibilities and Key Tasks**:

- Assist the Team Leader in liaison activities with Client and stakeholders.
- Assume responsibilities of the Team Leader in coordination with the Team Leader, when he will be working on part time basis. This is dependent on the final collaboration modality to be adopted between Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader.
- In coordination with the Team Leader and Project Manager, and in line with the contract, plan and manage other team members/experts’ contributions as well as the overall programme’s activities for the Egyptian Public Authority for Drainage Projects (EPADP).
- In line with the contractual scope of work, assist the Team Leader in supporting the Programme Implementation Unit of EPADP in overall management and coordination of the Programme.
- Participate in monthly project control meetings with the Team Leader and Project Manager
- Refer to and liaise with the Team Leader for important and key decisions on the project
- In the absence of the Team Leader, request no objection from donor (KfW) when needed, in line with project requirements
- Ensure project activities adhere to project contractual requirements and Mott MacDonald’s in-house requirements
- Provide leadership and hands-on support in activities of Communication and Visibility
- Review and approve timesheets and support the preparation of quarterly invoices.
- Review technical reports.
- Review and submit Consultant Statements for bid evaluations.
- Prepare monthly and bi-annual progress reports, and all other relevant programme technical/managerial documentation.
- Liaise with the project backstopping team to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of project information and data.
- Adhere strictly to Mott MacDonalds’ procedures and quality control procedures, in undertaking the role’s responsibilities and tasks.
