Communiquer avec d’autres membres du personnel du service d’informatique pour dépanner et résoudre les problèmes techniques ou les problèmes ayant trait aux logiciels et aux systèmes, à l’accès Internet, au matériel et aux périphériques. Signaler les problèmes importants ou les produits défectueux aux fournisseurs ou aux techniciens. Répondre aux messages d’erreur de programme en trouvant et en corrigeant les problèmes ou en arrêtant le programme. Entrer les commandes et activer les contrôles sur le matériel informatique et les périphériques. Inspecter, tester et diagnostiquer les équipements et les systèmes informatiques. Tenir un inventaire de tous les appareils technologiques. Maintenir les réseaux informatiques, assurer le soutien du ou des systèmes de serveur et des logiciels connexes. Fournir le soutien au système de transmission par réseau. Maintenir et améliorer le matériel, les logiciels et l’architecture technique de site Web en ce qui a trait au matériel et à la connectivité de télécommunication. Effectuer des sauvegardes du système. Fournir un soutien à l’utilisateur final. Gérer les comptes d’utilisateurs, y compris mettre en place, retirer et réinitialiser les mots de passe afin d’assurer la confidentialité et la sécurité. Installer, configurer et modifier les postes de travail.
