** Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the implementation and review of MEL frameworks, including participating in identifying key indicators, data collection methods, and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with Team Leads to ensure MEL activities are aligned with STEP Project’s goals and objectives in general and technical activities implementation objectives in particular.
- Ensure quantitative and qualitative data are collected and cleansed.
- Interpret data findings, identify trends, and contribute actionable insights for improving STEP Project. Additionally, assess the outcomes of STEP activities' implementation.
- Support the communication and contribute to the dissemination of MEL findings, lessons learned, and best practices to diverse audiences.
- Contribute to the preparation of MEL reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate STEP activities outcomes.
- Participate in the development of knowledge products, reports, and presentations.
- Support capacity-building initiatives that enhance STEP Project’s MEL capabilities (including (training and mentoring STEP Team om MEL concepts)
- Stay informed about MEL best practices, industry trends, and new methodologies to enhance the STEP Project MEL approach.
- Provide input and recommendations for refining MEL processes based on lessons learned.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in MEL, research, data analysis, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Experience in designing and implementing data collection tools and surveys.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, or other statistical software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- A very good knowledge of USAID regulations and reporting is highly desirable.
- Experience working with MSMEDA in Egypt is highly desirable.
- Experience in capacity building, training facilitation, adult learning is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of the MSMEs sector in Egypt and understanding of the challenges and opportunities in advancing MSMEs is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
