Quality and Operational Excellence Manag

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be responsible to assist the local ABB unit in developing the necessary capabilities to control products and systems to meet the internal, customer and industry requirements, in a cost effective and safe working environment. Participate in the development and implementation of stand-ards and test methods to ensure only conform products, software and services are released to the cus-tomer. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Electrification Business Area based in 10th Ramadan Cairo Egypt. You will be mainly accountable for: -Conducting test protocols as assigned to ensure the products, systems or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and F.A.T. as applicable -Systematic approach leading daily and tier management for Quality and other performance indica-tors utilizing visualization aids. -Guiding the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction using the appropriate problem-solving methodologies, involving all stake holders like production, supplier quality, engineering & R&D -Leading the implementation of lean foundations such as 5S and other lean practices such as TPM, JIT, Value stream maps and lean logistics. -Conducting test protocols as assigned ensuring the products, systems or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and F.A.T. as applicable -Escalating to quality control organization any case of product quality or safety nonconformance

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 to 5 years of experience in power fields 8D/problem solving methodologies, Lean and L6S methodologies
- Strong Interpersonal skills & excellent communication and presentation skills
- Customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality.
