IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Operations Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running and maintenance of LXT's computer systems and network according to requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. The IT Operations Manager will supervise a team of IT specialists and report directly to the IT and Security Director.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Ensure information technology and computer systems are running with good efficiency.
- Plan, organise, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Ensure all computers, software, and network are running with good efficiency.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Fulfil and manage user needs and system functionality.
- Identify and solve problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
- Monitor all IT systems and assess their functions on a regular basis.
- Keep all IT assets and information updated.
- Ensure security and control structures are effective and reviewed.
- Handle the annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Manage various IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Handle vendor management, contract negotiation, and vendor evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
- Lead and manage the IT team, including their development, performance evaluation, and mentoring.

**Qualifications**:

- BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- 10-12 years of work experience in IT in a fast-paced working environment.
- Excellent knowledge of technical IT information and analysis of computer hardware/software systems.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, including administration, collaboration tools, and cloud services.
- Ability to manage customer needs and solve technical problems.
- Ability to conduct analysis and research.
- Exceptional leadership and organisational abilities.
- Strategic thinking.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience in managing cloud infrastructures and services is a plus.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, ITIL, PMP, etc., are desirable.
