The Sawiris Distinction Scholarship offers high-potential Egyptian students access to premium quality education at local public and private universities in Egypt. A requirement is for the students to receive computer literacy training that will support 3rd year university students to understand how to expand on their existing computer skills to become more competitive applicants in the job market. The computer literacy course should be designed to be divided into two levels. The first level should be at the intermediate level, accommodating the humanities students. The second level should be advanced and alter to the computer science and engineering students.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** **Conduct research and collect data to prepare needed technical content, material, and resources for different courses to meet the needs of computer literacy training in alignment with the project’s objective of preparing the scholarship students for the job market.
- Ensure the logical sequencing for technical content, material, and resources
- Outline the objectives to be reached per session
- Ensure the technical content, material and resources prepared are supported by references to meet Amideast standards
- Review current course structure and update it based on training needs and student interests collected from surveys. In addition, needing to come up with recommendations/ suggestions including interactive activities using video, case studies, games, etc.
- Conduct two training/ orientation sessions per curriculum to the Computer Literacy Trainer

**Deliverables**:

- Reviewed coursebook, lesson plan and available material
- Guide with full resources, references with further readings and citations
- Full assessment plan and tools.
- Two drafts and a final submission to be shared and approved by Amideast focal point
- Training sessions for the Computer Literacy Trainer
- All of the above is to be applied to two courses: an intermediate computer literacy course and an advanced computer literacy course
