**Amgen Middle East Africa (MEA) region is a fast-growing and dynamic operating unit. Its diverse business includes the following countries: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Libya and South Africa. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing and executing Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy. This position will require collaboration with country and regional cross-functional teams to define and develop regional critical success factors and brand plans. In addition, partnership with the global teams to provide Value, Access and Pricing (VA&P) inputs and insights will be required.**:
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- ** Engaging with cross functional partners to develop comprehensive HEOR plans across MEA aligned with strategic objectives**:

- ** Engaging with vendors and external experts to validate HEOR strategy and technical approach**:

- ** Partner with internal stakeholders (including medical) on evidence generation planning to support products value propositions including local data and insights on unmet needs, burden of illness, potential cost offset and improved patient experience**:

- ** Adaptation of global materials to support Health Technology Assessment (HTA)/payer submissions including value dossiers and economic models and ensuring compliance with HTA dossier governance**:

- ** Develop and execute plan of actions to address critical questions to support VA&P insight generation for marketed and pipeline products**:

- ** Collaborate and communicate effectively with country, regional and cross-functional teams on marketed and pre-launch plans (brand and above brand)**:

- ** Assess and monitor pricing and reimbursement for marketed and pre-launch assets in new disease areas or high-cost analogues in the MEA region**:

- ** Scan horizon to identify opportunities for policy engagement/shaping in the MEA region**:

- ** Partner with country and MEA-regional teams to shape healthcare policy (e.g., HTA), including industry partnerships and relationships**:

- ** Work collaboratively across functions and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including regional and country colleagues in marketing, medical, health regulatory, operations, advocacy, corporate affairs, and government affairs as well global, regional, and local VA&P colleagues.**:
**WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU**:

- ** Degree educated in relevant field**:

- ** HEOR training/experience (on the job or academic), including developing/adapting economic models and predictive analytics**:

- ** Direct payer experience and/or experience in product commercialization including coverage and reimbursement, pricing, health technologies assessment, and health/pricing policy**:

- ** Ability to conduct situation analysis of external pricing and reimbursement environment and synthesize relevant information to develop strategic plans**:

- ** Experience in developing payer-relevant evidence, including real-world evidence**:

- ** Experience in evidence synthesis (systematic literature reviews, indirect treatment comparisons and meta-analyses)**:

- ** Experience in influencing access strategy with a HEOR lens**:

- ** Experience in adapting and leveraging Global Value Dossiers**:

- ** Ability to work within a highly fluid, interactive, matrixed environment and build strong and effective partnerships with affiliate and regional colleagues**:

- ** Excellent oral/written communications skills and interpersonal skills**:

- ** Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English, French, Arabic, or other language relevant to the MEA region**:
