- Job Description
- Develop & update Strategic Sourcing Policies in close alignment with company’s objectives.
- Communicate with the procurement team, Manufacturing, and Engineering to identify the item, material, and product specifications to place strategic sourcing.
- Prepare and implement plans and schedules, and as required, to meet sourcing requests arising from the business
- Ensure Topline RM’s/RE Acquisition budgets are developed – aligned with internal stakeholders.
- Determine the supplier’s or vendor’s ability to provide, within strict schedule commitments, technical products, materials, and/or services.
- Negotiate agreements to obtain the best terms and conditions for the Company. Issue orders and supplements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Request calibration, with technical or material management to fulfill the requested sourcing plan and to test required samples.
- Monitor Contracts and agreements with procurement managers.
- Resolve & review non-conformance issues, claims, and questionable situations in a timely manner to minimize Company exposure.
- Maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Update sourcing data relative to purchasing (entry and tracking of the purchase orders, control of purchase invoices).
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of vendor or supplier performance and identify performance issues.
- Manage supplier’s evaluation system in order to track suppliers’ performance and to have an approved supplier list.
- Maintains procurement pipelines with alternative vendors to ensure corporate standards are maintained in accordance with required margins
- Build and monitor ongoing SRM
- Conduct ongoing markets/industry analysis, evaluating the impact of the current & future deals,
- Provide evaluation findings of current and future trends to Strategic Sourcing Head for alignment/approval for possible sourcing strategy adaption.
