**About The Role**:

- Performing quantities take off and preparing Bills of Quantities by studying drawings and specification sheets.
- Preparing and presenting order of cost estimates and produce cost plans.
- Valuating construction works and production of interim and final payment recommendations.
- Valuing of changes and variations.
- Making sure that all costs and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order.
- Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet customers’ requirements deliverables in accordance with the business procedures.
- Assembling contract documentation.
- Advising on and implementing procurement strategies, risk management and cost-saving measures.

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 7+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in different aspects of quantity surveying and construction methods and materials.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively and identify cost saving opportunities.
- Sound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and cost planning techniques.
- Working knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
- Be able to work as part of team
