- We are in search of a visionary Head of Software House, who will lead our software team in creating cutting-edge apps, websites, platforms, and more while infusing AI expertise into our products to enhance their capabilities and drive revenue growth.
- Your mission will be to infuse AI into our software products to add a unique flavor, boost functionality, and drive revenue growth while overseeing and implementing our AI division.

**What is a Head of Software Development?**
Sometimes also referred to as a Software Development Manager, it is up to the Head of Software Development to deliver and maintain a product that sets out to achieve the business goals of the company and/or client. In order to do so, the development team must be run with a clear direction and efficiency.

**What should be included in a Head of Software Development job description?**
The Head of Software Development is required primarily to lead the software development team and set the team’s strategy.

**The Head of Software Development is also responsible for**:

- ** Managing department budgets and resources**: Overseeing financial aspects to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- ** Building and managing relationships**: Cultivating strong relationships with clients, vendors, and various business units to support project success.
- ** Project scoping, planning, and management**: Defining project scopes, creating plans, and managing project execution.
- ** Talent recruitment and mentoring**: Identifying and attracting top talent while providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
- ** Some programming and design**: As needed, contributing to programming and design aspects of projects to guide and support the team.
- ** AI expert**: Leveraging expertise in Artificial Intelligence to enhance software development projects and strategies.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing software development teams.
- Deep expertise in both software development and Artificial Intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a knack for innovation.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

**Education**:

- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of [3] years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on AI.

- Successful track record in delivering AI-infused products and driving revenue growth.
