**About the role**:

- Telco Sourcing Operational Buyer is accountable for all telecom sourcing deliverables (timely delivery of qualitative and competitive quotes as well as the implementation support of those circuits) for Post-Sales activities in his/her scope of responsibilities.
- Purpose:
- Support sourcing activities for Network Access commodities within their geographical scope:
- Makes sure that continuous improvement and value are provided by suppliers
- Negotiates reduced costs, and mitigates risk.
- Builds, maintains and owns the relationship with Operations (CS&O)
- Develop a strong knowledge of the market and of the market’s suppliers
- Collaborates with suppliers to ensure a good working relationship.
- Acts as a trusted advisor on all procurement matters within his/her scope

Main activities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Supports the implementation of the sourcing process in compliance with the "7 Steps" methodology for the scope s/he is responsible for:

- Support Operations (CS&O eLDM), Sales (TDT), & other stakeholders (OINIS, BU) by managing the complete Post Sales quotation process with local carriers to provide competitiveness quotes on time to keep a good access margin
- Manage the sourcing of access connections for all types of service (Ethernet & Internet connections) in respective region: by optimizing the specs, leading communication & negotiation with carriers, managing the timelines and owning the sourcing sign-off in Post-Sales
- Does this by maintaining the set Lead Time to Optimize for the countries/region
- Provide access pricing requests to VMS team for VMS VPN service when requested
- Supports managing the relationship with supplier(s)
- Support carrier relations, ensuring fair and ethical treatment of all telecom carriers in scope, in accordance with Orange values and sourcing policy. Update carrier offer database and perform regular benchmarking in close collaboration with the Strategic Buyer
- Collect and report issues from stakeholders & carriers to support the preparation of any business / operational meeting with the carrier
- Participate to carrier business reviews to provide feedback
- Sets up mutually beneficial relationships with the relevant BUs within his/her scope.
- Own CS&O relationship
- Support Strategic Buyer for cost monitoring and provide information where needed.
- Participate & provide feedback to CS&O in LDM interlock meetings and other tactical calls
