Head of Nse voiseg

**Role purpose**:
Within Vodafone Networks and the Networks Strategy and Engineering (NSE) Function, NSE_VOIS is our shared services function. NSE_VOIS also provides services outside of NSE, e.g. Network Development, Vodacom & partner markets. We currently have service centers in Romania, Spain, India and Egypt and expect this resource to grow in the short term and medium term.

The Head of NSE VOIS will be accountable for all governance, transformation and growth initiatives across our NSE Service Centers, and for developing and executing the overall strategy for the NSE _VOIS operations, in alignment with Vodafone’s goals and objectives.

The Head of NSE VOIS will drive and oversee the growth of our NSE_VOIS population, an important priority in the short and medium term.

As a key member of the Network Planning, Demand, Delivery and Transformation (NPDDT) leadership team, this role will work closely with other Network functions to execute our Networks, NSE and NPDDT priorities of building Customer trust through service excellence, delivering Simplicity, operational effectiveness & efficiency and driving Growth.

**1. Governance**:

- As NSE _VOIS Lead, accountable for overall Transformation and Governance of NSE _VOIS
- E2E Ownership of the NSE_VOIS processes - from demand through to recharging departments and markets, resource management, forecasts and efficiencies.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies to achieve the growth targets
- Responsible for aligning with and executing Networks and NSE priorities in NSE_VOIS, including on commercialization of network services, insourcing, evolution of the function and efficiencies.

**2. Continuous improvement, growth and evolution of the function**:

- Manage the growth of NSE VOIS teams across all VOIS centers, in line with Networks priorities
- Explore new options to meet Vodafone’s cost reduction challenges
- Explore new ways of bringing additional outcomes to Vodafone by providing support to our partner markets and further commercialising network services
- Plan & ensure high/wider skilled workforce through best practice sharing, training and up-skills by right insourcing of critical roles in NSE/Networks
- Identify areas for process optimization and simplification, automation, reuse of skills/capabilities and efficiency enhancement.

**3. Delivery**:

- Accountable for the delivery of network services to Network Development, Vodacom & partner markets by the Network _VOIS centers, according to committed SLAs, ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
- Accountable for on demand NSE Network services, including Delivery Management as a Service team (DMaaS), OSS, and Vodafone TV.
- Responsible for reviewing and aligning management of this function to the NSE blueprint.

**4. Demand, Budgeting and Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the NSE _VOIS budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while delivering high-quality services
- Accountable for NSE _VOIS CAPEX and OPEX budget planning and submission, according to agreed budget cycles, business cases & accelerate financial/headcount targets.
- Accountable for continuous analysis and review of the supporting functions recharges and overhead costs
- Responsible for achieving NSE _VOIS efficiency targets along with other NSE Heads of Verticals
- Accountable for the business case preparation, sign off and lifecycle
- Oversee commercial governance and analysis, service governance and reporting, resource management

**5. People management**:

- Drive Learning & Development agenda based on NSE _VOIS identified needs in collaboration with NSE verticals
- Own people agenda and Vodafone Spirit initiatives across NSE _VOIS in collaboration with NSE verticals
- Accountable for ensuring a strong and diverse talent pipeline

**6. Legal and Compliance**:

- Accountable for driving legal and regulatory compliance and managing risks in line with central and local service center legal and regulatory requirements.
- Accountable for NSE_VOIS escalations.
- ** Strategic Vision & Industry Knowledge**: forward-thinking mindset and the ability to envision the future of network strategy and engineering. They should be able to identify opportunities for growth, predict industry disruptions, and develop long-term strategies that align with Vodafone's business objectives.
- ** Business Transformations**: lead strategic initiatives that transform network operations, aligning them with emerging technologies and market trends.
- ** Generic Network Expertise**: should have a good understanding of network technologies, protocols, and engineering principles relevant to Vodafone's operations. Diverse exposure across Voice, Mobile, Data, OSS, Digital is preferred
