This role is part of Shell Egypt Real Estate team, reporting directly to Shell Egypt FM Manager. The purpose of this role is to provide support to Shell Egypt sites operation and maintenance in New Cairo and Sixth of October LOBP Admin office, and Manage Road Transport Operations, in compliance with Shell Real Estate management strategies.

**What’s the role?**
- Develop Facilities Management team and contractors to enable them to have the capacity, competence & confidence to sustain the required performance for Building Management and Utility Operations.
- Measure and provide assurance on building performance, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage transport operations effectively by improving the HSE performance and user experience.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Work with site manager to delivering performance covering HSE, service standard, building integrity, office space utilization & cost containment, equipment, and utilities up time.
- Compile the long-range building Operation and Maintenance plan including internal projects, planned / reactive maintenance, space planning with building condition surveys as required.
- Define KPI’s with service providers for 100% reliability. Measure performance against set targets (including scorecard) and support improvement activities providing assurance on building integrity, HSE and compliance requirements.
- Support site manager with roll out site plans for sustainable development improvements, waste reduction, energy management, CO2 footprint along with Site Emergency Plan.
- Administer delivery of hard services to agreed service levels and budgets. Provide building operations and hard services expertise.
- Maintain regular updates of building technical documents including asset registers, as built drawings, SOPs, / Service / Audit reports etc.,
- To develop and manage competency requirements for FM teams
- Demonstrate visible leadership in managing Road Transport operations HSE
- Organizing required HSSE Trainings and competency development for the vocational drivers.
- Support site manager with develop and optimize any opportunities to eliminate, simplify, standardize, automate, and reduce costs in areas related to Transport and Logistics policies, programs, and processes/ operations.
- Develop HSE audit schedule, regularly monitor to ensure compliance through auditing / advising / intervention and feedback into management systems.
- Assist in generating procedures / standards to maintain and update the HSSE & SP management system.
- Maintaining and Supporting the Emergency Response capability of Shell Egypt Corporate Offices

**Key Challenges**:

- Maintaining compliance with the regulatory framework
- Maintaining business/HSE controls across organizational interfaces e.g., RE to main contract to sub-contracts
- Delivering Goal Zero (zero incidents) and retaining asset integrity
- Working in collaboration with the service partners to consistently comply with ‘Shell WorkWell Standards”.
- Manage road transport activities in a high road risk country.

**What we need from You**
- Qualification in appropriate technical discipline (e.g., mechanical/electrical engineer)
- Qualification in OSHA, NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
- Experience of a range of building management strategies, techniques, and tools
- A genuine passion for HSE. The position requires a confident lead willing to intervene, coach and support at all levels of the organization.
- Good command of English and Arabic languages, both written and spoken
- Good collaboration and organizational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Contractor HSE Management
- Experience of performance management (especially HSE, integrity, service management and cost containment)
- Experience within the Real Estate Area and more specifically facilities management at a tactical and supervisory level.
- Demonstrate ability to work with and influence without authority.
- Excellent Relationship Management skills, capable to set up internal and external networks.
- Proven experience of developing and managing a high-performance integrated Shell and contractor team.
