Marketing Communications Manager - Waldorf Astoria Heliopolis


A Marketing Communications Manager will be focused on developing marketing plans for the hotel and then overseeing the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan.

A Marketing Communications Manager, is responsible for the overall creative service, Public Relations/Ad, and web/E-marketing of our company.

What will I be doing?
As Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Understand performance metrics applicable to online hotel room bookings including digital direct and OTAs.
  • Work closely with PR agency and refresh the comms strategy to drive targeted media and influencers to the property or F&B; outlets.
  • Ensure that comprehensive media monitoring is carried out.
  • Manage internal communications in the hotel and take responsibility for updating regional office of any local stories, awards and sponsorship events to promote locally, regionally and globally.
  • Oversee media visits and develop key media contacts, manage press conferences on site and be aware of media events and activities in the local area and community.
  • Liaison with EMEA PR Team as appropriate.
  • Assist in the creation of copy and content for the social media editorial calendars for the hotel (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn).
  • Responsible for building a coherent social media strategy for the hotels and F&B; outlets.
  • Grow social media following and enhance interaction with customers using different tools and techniques.
  • Create and execute strategy for increasing Influencer and UG content.
  • Ensure sales and F&B; teams receive full marketing and PR support including supporting on signing off collateral.
  • Work with F&B; on need periods for outlets and supporting action plans to drive bookings.
  • Support positioning work for key / signature F&B; outlets in market with action plans to increase in house and local (nonguest) bookings.

  • Local market experience in a Marketing & PR role.
  • Experience working with media and design agencies.
