Job Purpose

Acts as the link between the business and any new technology to be implemented across the organization. Implements new and enhanced ways of working to support business growth. Facilitates the transition of the organization towards agile ways of working.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensures that the network of the organization is up and running without any issues for business continuity.
  2. Maintains the network that connects all of Al Ahram Beverages Company (ABC) together and ABC to Heineken and handles data center maintenance (UPS, back-up systems, etc.)
  3. Handles the IT warehouse asset management.
  4. Manages IT Security of the network and system.
  5. Conducts daily stand-up meetings with the team to discuss and assign daily and weekly tasks.
  6. Checks the monitoring tool of the whole network for any issues to be resolved.
  7. Manages various cross-functional projects with the regional and central teams.
  8. Aligns business requirements with the manager of the D&T support team and maintains contact with them to resolve any delays or issues.
  9. Visits new sites to set up the network (cabling) and coordinates with third party suppliers to connect data centers together (configure routers, switches, etc.).
  10. Manages Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) and data lines of the whole company.
  11. Handles services of GPS lines and manages security cameras at Drinkies retail stores.
  12. Manages server updates and any running business applications.
  13. Handles vulnerability management i.e. ensuring that all network assets are secure at all times.
  14. Develops the skills of the team through one-to-one meetings. Ensures that everyone is well aligned with the digital and technology strategy.
  15. Delivers regular training sessions on various topics related to agile ways of working.

Education & Experiences

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information technology

Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience in relevant experience WAN - LAN - Wireless - Voice ( VoIP ) - Information Security - Disaster Recovery - Data Center Architecture - IT Service ManagementConnectivity - Collaboration & End User Devices - Cloud & Hosting - Identity Access Management

Qualifications & Other Requirements: Excellent command of English Language
