**Job Title**:Regulatory Specialist for Middle East, Turkey & Africa (META) - **Contractual Role**

**Reports To**:Manager
- Regulatory Affairs

**Work Location: Cairo**

**Purpose of the Role**

**The Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the Regulatory Affairs Manager with the management of product licenses/registrations within the META region, from the initial submission preparation/approval throughout the product life cycle.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Regular Update and Maintenance of internal systems and data base.
- Responsible for addressing customer requests for specific markets and following up with them.
- Ensures submitted product documents fully meet the local regulatory requirements for markets of responsibility
- Supports follow-up with the regulatory authority/customer during submission, review and ensures all questions /requests are provided/clarified within due time to ensure timely approval of product.
- Maintain product life cycle management
- Monthly follow up with customers to ensure updating of SKU status
- Review and approve Social media decks
- Responsible for tracking of regulatory commitments
- Archiving and maintaining regulatory related records as per local and regional standards
- Data entry in relevant systems and ensuring that the data is kept up to date
- Performs all assigned responsibilities within assigned projects and ensure that the project is advancing as per committed timelines
- Assist in SOP Creation for Regulatory - META and New product innovations
- Create Comprehensive data base captured from regulations to make sure our products are compliant and to capture historical authority feedback.
- Maintain Global Change Impact tracker on META Specific list
- Create a local repository for all Brands per product range and update on monthly basis

**Regulatory Influence**
- Understands the local regulatory guidelines and requirements for the market(s) under their responsibility

**Others**
- Supports the Regulatory Affairs team on administrative projects
- Generate reports, summaries of regulatory data and information for presentations or special regulatory affairs projects

**Required Education/Experience**:

- Scientific background preferably pharmacist or Food Science, or any other scientific background with competent and consistent performance in Regulatory Affairs Function in a Multinational FMCG /Healthcare Company.
- 3-5 years of professional work experience in Regional Regulatory Affairs, expertise in Food supplement registration at Different entities and across GCC
- Preferred Industry experience from FMCG /Foods & Beverages / Healthcare.
- Strong and engaging communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic oral and written
- Advanced level in Excel and powerpoint
- Good Communication skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
