This role has a crucial meaning for our WA business. We want you to be a hands-on controller, the finance partner of the operations team who will strive to identify and drive improvements, making sure our targets, KPI’s and Capex are reached. As Industrial Controller you will be an important player within the organization, being in contact with most important stakeholders of the plants.
**What else?**:

- 50% of your time_, you will be focusing on **Cost Accounting and P&L Reconciliation/Inventory and Plant Controls**. Your main target will be to provide accurate data on time to the Industrial management and ensure compliance with given policies. Mainly, you will analyze and coordinate the updating of standard costs in the system in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, reconcile and report the main variances between the business forecast and the actual P&L at gross margin level.
Additionally, you will coordinate periodic inventory counts for Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods, Supplies, and Spare Parts in compliance with Bunge policies, implement, monitor, and ensure compliance of all relevant SOX controls applicable to industrial operations. This will require you to work closely with other Bunge locations internationally. Other teams to maintain close collaboration with are FP&A, legal and tax, commercial, supply chain and Operations to understand business challenges and needs.

Other 50% of the responsibilities will include:

- Industrial Expense Monitoring - 20% of the time _- Jointly with FP&A execute budget controls to avoid accounting errors and/or company’s assets misappropriations.
- PP&E and Lease Controls - 15% of the time_ - Validate and monitor CAPEX projects;
- Local Statutory Compliance - 15% of the time_ - Coordinate statutory external audits.
**What we expect from our Industrial Controller**
A positive and structured person with strong analytical skills. Someone who understands business drivers and production processes and can translate them into financial figures and meaningful reporting. Even more traits such as hands-on, proactivity, result drive and eagerness to find a solution to every problem are important.
- A Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance related field;
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position (commodity trading is a plus) and a strong interest to work in an industrial environment;
- SAP knowledge;
- Fluent in English.
