**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**BOQ Preparation**: Prepare, manage, and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for road and infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
**Cost Estimation and Pricing**: Provide detailed cost estimates and competitive pricing for all phases of the project, including materials, labor, and equipment.
**Design and Build BOQ**: Develop and manage Design & Build BOQ based on project design specifications, incorporating all necessary cost elements and adjustments.
**Tendering and Bidding**: Assist in the preparation and management of tender documents, evaluate subcontractor bids, and advise on the selection of suppliers.
**Contract Administration**: Manage all aspects of contract administration, including reviewing contractual obligations, processing variations, and managing claims related to cost and time extensions.
**Cost Control and Reporting**: Monitor project costs, maintain cash flow forecasts, and provide regular reports to project managers and stakeholders on financial performance and cost variations.
**Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate risks related to costs, contracts, and project timelines, with particular focus on road and infrastructure projects.
**Coordination with Design Teams**: Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure that the BOQ reflects the latest design developments, aligning costs with design changes.
**Compliance and Quality Assurance**: Ensure that all projects adhere to GCC building codes, safety standards, and local regulations, with a particular emphasis on road and infrastructure construction.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Certified Quantity Surveyor (e.g., RICS, CIQS, or equivalent professional certification).
10-15 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in road and infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
Extensive knowledge of BOQ preparation, pricing, and cost control, for both traditional and Design & Build procurement methods.
Demonstrated experience in contract administration (FIDIC, NEC) and cost management systems.
Strong understanding of GCC regulations, infrastructure codes, and local construction standards.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CostX, Primavera).
Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
