**About the Role**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ledgers
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and account balances
- Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects
- Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary documentation
- Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documents
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures

**What do we need from you**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong mathematical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of financial statements and reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting technologies and practices
