Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable data. Other duties include maintaining a record of financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements and reports, assisting with budget preparation, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in accounting practices and principles, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and accounting tools
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Prior experience or internships in accounting is a plus
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and standards is beneficial
