Principal Software Engineer

- Designs and makes all the power and control electronics for the Powertrain Systems Business Group.
- The Team is delivering software to most premium Manufacturers such as Porsche, Daimler, VW, Audi, PSA, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover.
- Has the opportunity to work as part of small teams & enhance skills in different parts of the Software that ranges from AutoSAR stacks configuration and Boot-loader development to Micro-controller drivers development, MCAL configuration & Complex Drivers development.
- Using advanced software technologies such as AUTOSAR basic software drivers, Bootloader, Real Time Operating Systems, CAN and Flexray communication, Vehicle diagnostic and Software Safety.
- Has the responsibility to travel & support other PTS teams in France, Norway & China..
- Job Description:

- Be the focal point for technical communication of the product features road map to form a PIPP for the assigned product
- Establish, arbitrate, manage delivery plans of the PIPPs to enable the reuse of the different P1s
- Contribute to the effective reuse strategy between the PIPPs and the deployment team - Coach, support, review on team members artifacts to specify, configure & integrate AUTOSAR/Non AUTOSAR BSW/MCAL/SAFETY & middleware software using different tool chains
- Work closely with the Business Partner to help in defining the BG needs priorities with the VCore central according to the PIPP road map - Establish CI\CD process in the team
- Work closely with BG feature owners & BG VCore architect to follow the Vcore guidelines and objectives - Support the BG testing team in deploying test automation on the assigned PIPPs
- Report BG VCore KPIs on the assigned PIPPs - Responsible on team induction training
- Support team members to reach projects ASPICE targets through an integrated agile mode
- Perform technical reviews on the different project’s activities on the site and group level.
- Coach and certify standard technical reviewers on the group level.
- Lead and follow-up on transversal initiatives on the site level.

- Present work progress continuously through active participation of daily & weekly project meetings
- For Principal SW Engineer:

- Participate in system and customer requirements analysis for new products.
- Participate in high level design architecture definition for the new products.
- Responsible for system and customer requirements analysis for projects that have high reuse factor.
- Design complicated software component(s) based on defined high-level design.
- Perform technical reviews on software component design, code, and component test, and integrate test strategy and plan.
- Support and coach the team members pro-actively in their daily on-job tasks.
- Qualifications
- Job Requirements:

- B.Sc. in Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics or Computer Engineering.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science.
- Excellent command of English language is a must.
- Software Engineer Technical Qualification:

- Master knowledge in Autosar BSW architecture and tool chain
- Master knowledge in Embedded systems concepts and Microcontrollers
- Experience in SW development cycle - Experienced in Cyper security and HSM configuration is a plus - Experienced in Requirement management, traceability and configuration management.
- Master knowledge of Diagnostics (UDS,OBD,XCP,...) - Knowledge of Safety ISO 26262 - Master knowledge in CAN,LIN, Eth communication.
- Multi-core programming is a plus - Familiar with Agile methodologies - Coordination and customer communication.
- Hand on experience with hardware testing and measurement tools
- Experience in solving dynamic behavior issues and run time problems - Experience in AURIX MC is a huge plus
