Sahl acts as a bill payment aggregator that enables users to manage their electricity and telecom services from their mobile phones. It is worthy to note that Sahl provides a novel technology that enables customers to top-up their prepaid electricity meters at any time from the comfort of their homes. The team is looking for talented and passionate people to create innovative and seamless payment experiences for the customers.

**What you'll do**:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department.
- Conduct Monthly Closing Cycles for all Income Statement and Balance Sheet Accounts within Closing Deadline.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure general ledger accounts are properly coded and mapped.
- Maintain Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts (cash, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets etc.) monthly. Investigate and resolve discrepancies if any.
- Managing consolidated monthly financial statements including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual Closings.
- Ensure & enforce compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Implement improvements where needed.
- Maintain Compliance with statutory filings and tax submissions.
- Liaise and Complete quarterly audit process and EOY Audited Statements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Eight years or more of related experience required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- Adaptability and team player attitude.
- Superior communication skills in Arabic and English both written & spoken.
- Knowledge of Egypt VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
- Expertise in preparing financial statements and reports using ERP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and meeting deadlines
