As a key part of the IQVIA EMEAA legal team, this individual will support the Assistant General Counsel or responsible for Commercial Solutions GBU and AMESA Region and also provide support to the IQVIA business in the rest of the EMEAA region. You will be a key contact point for the business, supporting with commercial contracting and acting as a contact point for ad hoc legal questions. You will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of local and international legal matters.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Contracting support:

- Ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal/ regulatory requirements and IQVIA’s policies.
- Monitor the contract process to assure compliance with IQVIA's guidelines.
- Interact internally and externally with relevant stakeholders on issues requiring negotiation or escalation.
- Acting as key point of contact for assigned customer accounts and/or geographies. Signpost or escalate to other stakeholders as required.
- Support business with responding to public tenders
- Respond to internal and external queries, forwarding or escalating issues to appropriate individuals, as needed.
- Overseeing outside legal counsel engagement in your assigned geographies.
- Undertaking and supporting projects as required (such as for example, relating to process improvements or support for new business offerings).
- Ensuring legal training and best practices are developed/maintained and disseminated to the business and functional teams.
- Accountability for adapting, driving and implementing acceptance and use of new templates, innovations and processes within EMEAA.
- Leading or supporting post acquisition contract integration matters.
- Supporting the business with customer or vendor disputes.
- Supporting, as required, with internal investigations.
- Any other tasks related to the EMEAA business as may be reasonably required

**Qualifications**:

- Proven track record of supporting commercial contracting and providing general legal support in an international/in-house legal role.
- Prior experience in the Pharma/Life Science or IT sectors and/or a strong interest in data privacy matters would be a bonus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent judgement with the ability to anticipate and identify issues.
- Ability to engage in complex problem solving
- Collaborative
- Ability to earn the trust of the management teams of the business
- Self-reliant, hard-working and results-orientated
- Culturally sensitive
- Fluent English; additional language skills in Arabic and French would be a plus
- 4-8 years relevant PQE
