- Coordinate legal disputes and litigation with external counsel/firms, representing the company's interests as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws, staying updated on legal developments that may impact the company.
- Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures to enhance operational and legal efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide legal insights and support in decision-making processes.
- Mentor and guide junior legal staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and legal excellence.

**Requirements**:

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate law or related legal fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent; additional academic qualifications or certifications are an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate law, data protection, anti-money laundering, lobbying, sanctions, and other industry-specific regulations.
- Strong research skills with a proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional clarity and conciseness in both verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound legal judgments, offer practical solutions, and provide clear recommendations aligned with business goals.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Skilled in building strong relationships across departments, with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and government officials is a plus.
- Proficiency in an additional language, such as French, is an asset.
