Cloud Engineer

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Cloud Engineer for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will collaborate with the development team to design scalable solutions that meet the organization's needs.

**Requirements**:

- Solid experience in the following tools used in a development focus:

- Git - developer workflow and basic knowledge of GIT internal and controls.
- Python — Strong experience in developing scripts for DevOps environment and solution base development.
- Linux — Strong experience working and using a Linux environment for development and development support activities
- Understanding and strong knowledge of following Configuration Management:
- Pipeline CI/CD
- Jenkins
- Good to Have:

- C/C++ - Good experience in developing with C/C++ language, build process, and configuration process for C/C++ targeted development in a CI/CD enviroment
- Good experience in working in a Cloud platform and cloud tools i c., Google Platform,
- AWS, Azure
- Working knowl edge of Containers technology and targeted tools:

- Dockers, KUbernetes
- Cloud knowledge:

- Azure -- High
- AWS -- medium
- GCP - Low
- You should have experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and strong knowledge of cloud networking and security, including VPC, subnets, security groups, network ACLs, load balancers, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS EKS/Azure AKS is also required, as well as knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, or Azure DevOps.
- You should have experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or third-party solutions, as well as knowledge of scripting and automation with languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are also required.
- Design and implement end-to-end Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) workflows, utilizing tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn to develop, deploy, and manage AI models at scale, ensuring reproducibility, reliability, and efficiency throughout the entire lifecycle of machine learning projects.
- Nice to Have:

- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with serverless architectures.
- Certification on Azure/AWS.
- Proficiency with Azure 4 to 5: You are expected to have an intermediate to advanced understanding of Azure. They should be able to proficiently navigate the Azure portal, use a broad range of services (like VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, etc.), and have solid experience managing and deploying Azure resources.
- Proficiency with AWS 2 to 5: You are expected to have a basic to intermediate understanding of AWS. You should be able to navigate the AWS console, use the most common services (like EC2, S3, and VPC), and have some experience managing and deploying AWS resources.
- Proficiency with Scripting 4 to 5: You are expected to have an intermediate to advanced understanding of scripting. They should be comfortable writing scripts in languages such as Python and Bash.
- At this level, you should be capable of automating tasks, writing scripts for data manipulation, integrating APIs, troubleshooting, and improving processes. You might also be expected to understand error handling, write efficient and clean code, and understand more advanced scripting concepts.
- Proficiency with DevOps Toolset and Processes 3.5 to 5 : You are expected to have an intermediate to advanced understanding of common DevOps tools and processes.
- You should have experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins.
- You should be proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like GitOps, Terraform, or Ansible.
- You should have a strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- In terms of processes, you should understand the principles of the DevOps culture, such as collaboration, sharing, automation, and iterative development.
- You should be familiar with understanding how to perform version control, manage software releases, and configure automated testing and deployment pipelines.
