**Project** Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Senior/Chief Accountant to an Egyptian subsidiary of the large multinational Group, operating in IT and Digital area. The Group is listed on NYSE and operates in more than 50 countries. Egyptian legal entity currently has 150+ employees and continues to grow. The company is relatively new and has still certain finance processes in launching mode.

**Responsibilities**:

- 1. Accounting
- Control over local accounting books and GL, comprehensive management of all local accounting matters.
- Control over AP, AR, FA register, bank reconciliations, approving purchase orders, preparation of forex gain/loss calculation.
- Control over payroll uploading and payout (calculation is done by outsource service provider).
- Liaising with local outsource provider on all accounting and tax matters.
- E-system user: managing incoming and registration of outcoming invoices
- Develop and managing company accounting policies, incl. expense reports, business travel, etc. Approving expense reports
- Assistance with local-to-US GAAP reconciliation

2. Tax compliance
- Liaising with local outsource provider in respect of the tax returns preparation and mandatory tax reports, incl. local WHT, VAT, CIT, etc.
- Control of the filing deadlines
- Review of the tax calculations prepared by provider
- Reconciliation of tax balances.

3. Financial Statements and Audit
- Statutory Financial statements preparation (with local provider assistance)
- Manage mandatory annual financial audit

4. Management reports
- Assistance with YoY, QtQ, margin analysis

**Skills**:
Must have
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in Finance and Accounting;
- An experience on a similar position with similar responsibility (entire accounting) is a must;
- Excellent knowledge of local Egyptian GAAP; solid knowledge of local tax legislation.
- Knowledge of the main principles of international accounting standards is an advantage
- Strong analytical and calculating skills, attention to details, accuracy with numbers;
- English - fluent speaking and writing
