Regional Medical Affairs Manager, Meta

This position is based in **Cairo, Egypt** and will report directly to the **Regional Medical Affairs Director, META.** The position is needed for a short-term assignment, **the duration of employment is 6 months.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides medical disease/therapeutic area training (On-site, F2F or virtual trainings to sales forces in the META regions)
- Provide train the trainer sessions for cross functions
- Review/approval of SMPCs and preparation of ASMPCs
- Preparation of medical references for current and new portfolio
- Support clinical trials initiation, execution, monitoring and publications
- Develop/update Disease awareness materials for new and current portfolio
- Develop/update product medical materials for new and current portfolio
- Prepare Medico-access files for acino current and new products
- Review and approval of promo/non-promo materials for all acino products/campaigns
- Review and approval of different events/activities for the markets
- Support /Co-creation/creation of medico/scientific content for local medical and promotional materials of the assigned products in alignment with GMA in HQ
- Present the clinical evidence to internal and external stakeholders in a non-promotional and compliant way
- Medical evaluations for new business opportunities in the META region
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the therapy areas by reviewing literature, discussions with Key Opinion Leaders and key stakeholders, participating in cross functional interactions, contribute to the development, attend and present at appropriate meetings (scientific events/congresses)
- Assess & approve local HCPs participation to local congresses
- Creation of convincing medical communication concepts
- Ad board lead (organization, participation, content creation, KOL comms, contracts etc)
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship and interact directly with Global Medical Affairs and other Medical Affairs colleagues in the regions
- Communicate and best practices sharing with other Medical Affairs colleagues in Acino local offices (HUBs)
- Support of pre-launch and launch activities
- Support the development/revision and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required
- Ensure all Medical activities are compliant with appropriate Acino’s SOP’s
- Medical Information Handling for local requests
- MIR reconciliation and posting
- Incoming internal requests handling

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Medcine or Pharmacy
- Post graduate study is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational pharma and at least 3 years in a medical position
- Experience in clinical trials is a plus
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent command of written and spoken French
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- High level of intellectual curiosity
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
