Today, we are recruiting for a** Document Controller** to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
**What are my responsibilities?**
- Develop and maintain document management policies and procedures.
- Create guidelines for the creation, review, approval, distribution, and retention of documents, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Manage document control processes: Oversee the processes for managing documents throughout their lifecycle, including revision control, versioning, and archival.
- Develop and implement document templates: Create standardized document templates that ensure consistency across documents and facilitate the efficient creation of new documents.
- Set up and maintain of the project environment in the electronic document management system (data ownership, folder structure, roles, and rights, storage/classification criteria) in cooperation with the project manager and any further interface partners.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents: Ensure that all documents are accurate complete and meet organizational standards and requirements.
- Facilitate document review and approval processes: Oversee the processes for document review and approval, including managing workflows, deadlines, and notifications.
- Maintain document libraries and databases: Establish and maintain systems for storing, organizing, and retrieving documents, ensuring easy access for authorized personnel
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that documents are created and managed in accordance with organizational needs and standards.
- Train employees on how to create, manage, and maintain documentation, including best practices for organization and version control.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that documentation is communicated effectively across the organization and that everyone is aware of where to find the latest versions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation is aligned with organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
**What do I need to qualify for this job?**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a document controller.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to make regular visits to project sites in different governorates.
